I love gathering my hair up into up-dos and wrapping round scarves as part of the style. However, I heard that scarves put too much pressure on the hairline and continuous use can cause breakage of the hairline. Are some scarves (e.g. silk) better than others, or can anyone recommend any alternatives to scarves? Thank you.
